An upcoming outdoor concert in Bucks County will see local students perform jazz classics and new compositions for members of their community.

Langhorne Heritage Farm, located at 222 North Green Street in Langhorne, will be hosting a “Jazz at the Farm” concert on May 6 from 4 – 6 PM. Student jazz bands from Neshaminy High School will perform the majority of the songs, with a professional guest soloist making an appearance as well.

“Hundreds of local residents trek to the Farm with folding chairs and blankets to enjoy an afternoon of classic jazz and vocals,” event organizers said online.

The event is being hosted by Langhorne Open Space, a nonprofit that maintains the farm property while using it for community events and other uses.

“Faced with rapid over-development in the surrounding area, LOSI’s members have worked to preserve the small-town ambiance of Langhorne. The organization has been instrumental in the acquisition of land and development rights in its quest to preserve open space.”
