A new bakery in Bucks County is gearing up to fully open their doors with two events this weekend, giving locals a taste of their confections.

Baked by Michela, located at 777 Second Street Pike in the Hampton Center shopping center in Southampton, will be hosting a soft opening on May 7 from 9 AM – 4 PM.

On May 6, the bakery will be at the annual Food Truck Festival, held at the Bolton Mansion in Levittown. The owner of the bakery said that they are planning to host a grand opening on a Saturday later this month.

“Grand opening will include a ribbon cutting and a free jumbo chocolate chip cookie to the first 100 customers!” the owner said on social media. “I want that day to be super special with a FULLY stocked store so i don’t want to rush it!”

Specializing in custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and various chocolate confections, the new bakery is bound to be a hit in the Southampton area.
