Youth Center by Kamp for Kids at the Neshaminy Mall is ‘Fire’

A new camp for children in Bucks County offers a fun area for the young residents to enjoy games at a popular location. Peg Quann wrote about the camp for Philly Burbs.
Kamp for Kids recently opened the Youth Center, a new place for teens to hang out at Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem. And judging by the first reactions, the center is a big hit with teens.
Thirteen-year-old Riley Marshall said the space is “fire,” while 14-year-old Leila Santiago said it is “lit.”
The Youth Center provides tweens and teens with a place where they can play pool, watch video games, or play basketball on a weekend afternoon/evening, all for free.
Kamp for Kids is a nonprofit organization that helps autistic and other special needs children. However the new center is open to all children in sixth through 12th grades who are looking for a place to have fun on weekends.
It is not a babysitting service but a place for children to hang out with others of the same age for free, under adult supervision.
“I think it serves a very distinct need in the community for parents and students in those age ranges,” said Penni Morton, a co-founder of Kamp for Kids.
