Target to Open Latest Location in Bucks County. Read to Learn When and Where
A popular retail chain will be opening yet another location in Bucks County, replacing a once-thriving shopping center’s space. Jeff Werner wrote about the new store for the Doylestown Patch.
Target has announced their new location to open up in an unused part of the Doylestown Shopping Center. The western end of the shopping center once housed the Mercantile, Michelle’s Hallmark Store, and Essentials Salon & Day Spa.
“Located at 456 North Main Street, the store will be approximately 73,000 square feet. As we get closer to opening the store, we’ll have more specific details to share – including how the shopping experience will be tailored to serve local guests and the grand opening date,” a Target spokesperson said.
The Mercantile was once a hub for artisan merchants selling their wares. Photographers, clothing designers, jewelry makers, and painters were just some of the artistic business owners were among its vendors.
