Newtown Bakery Highlights Achievements of Young Employee: “A Total Rockstar”
A new bakery in Bucks County is commanding the hard work and talent of one of their employees, who is learning culinary skills at the business.
Mamie Colette, located at 202 South State Street in Newtown, is celebrating one of their employees for her baking and customer service. Julia, a student at Bucks County Technical High School, is helping to create thew bakery’s confections while honing her skills at the local school.
“But that’s not all – when she’s not studying or working at Mamie Colette, you can find Julia baking cookies, making stunning jewelry or hanging out with her friends,” the bakery said online.
“We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team, and we know you’re going to love her too!”
An artisan bakery that specializes in French-style baked goods, the eatery is named after the owner’s grandmother (‘Mamie’ in French), who moved from the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe to Chartres, France to give her family a better life.
