A flower shop in Bucks County created a floral masterpiece in order to honor a Philadelphia police officer who recently lost his life.

Fireside Flowers, located at 1040 2nd Street Pike in Richboro, recently donated a wreath to honor Officer Christopher Fitzgerald, a Temple University police officer who was recently shot and killed while on duty. A young man from Buckingham is currently in custody for the shooting.

The wreath was presented to the Northampton Township Police Department by students from Council Rock School District’s Achieve Program.

Featuring a mix of blue and white flowers, the wreath featured a picture of the fallen officer in the middle. The police department received this gift before going to Saint Katherine Drexel for a prayer service.

“We would like to thank Council Rock School District and Saint Katharine Drexel for the continued support and close relationship that we share,” the police department said online.
