The Eagles player stopped in Bucks County to visit local students.

A member of the Philadelphia Eagles recently made a visit to several schools in the Bucks County area, where he talked sports with students. Rose Itzcovitz wrote about the recent visit for WFMZ-69 News.

Britain Covey, a wide receiver and punt returner for the popular team, recently made a visit to both Richland Elementary School and Neidig Elementary School, both part of the Quakertown Community School District. While visiting, he talked sports and the upcoming Super Bowl with local students.

“I remember looking out to the athletes that would come,” Covey said.

“And when they were good examples it meant a lot to me and to my parents. And so, I always wanted to do that if I ever got the chance.”

Covey is not the only member of the team to stop in Bucks County this past week. Several members made their way to the Oxford Valley Mall to meet fans and sign merchandise over the weekend.
