Assistant Director of Admissions

This position will oversee day-to-day operations and staff as they relate to the admission of domestic and international graduate applicants to master’s degree programs; serve as primary contact with the academic division unit heads, the faculty in charge of individual graduate programs, and the university’s Office of Graduate Enrollment Services; and develop strategies that encourage a highly-qualified and diverse applicant pool to complete their applications for admission.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or higher plus five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. He/she should also have experience working with a diverse student body and will have excellent communication, organizational, and team-oriented skills, in addition to proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position requires regular communication with applicants, students, faculty, staff, and community members. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and a proven track record of working effectively within a team environment are a must.
