Finding Remote Jobs On and Off LinkedIn

Are you seeking a remote job or perhaps thinking about it? Do you need some tips and resources on looking for a remote job on LinkedIn and elsewhere?

First, you need to know how to get to LinkedIn’s knowledge base to seek answers to your questions. On the menu bar, click the round Me and then click on Help.

In the search bar, you could enter Remote Job or get even more specific and enter How to look for a remote job. You will get a different set of knowledge-base articles to explore.

I was surprised that I could not quickly find a straightforward answer for a job seeker, but there were tips for recruiters who post jobs.

Fortunately, the Jobs tab (with the briefcase icon) is visible on the menu bar. Click on that, and in the search bar in the upper left, enter the job title you are seeking.

Tab over to the search bar that says City, State, or Zip Code, and you will see an icon for Remote, and click on that.

Because you will uncover a lot of available remote jobs, you will probably want to click on the All Filters button to search results that fit your experience level, target company, industry, salary, benefits, and more.

Other than on LinkedIn, you can visit individual job boards like Indeed, Monster, Simply Hired, Zip Recruiter, Career Builder, and the like and enter remote for the location.

You can also enter your search words in Google (e.g., project manager remote jobs) or enter remote jobs and find other job boards.

Of course, I am saving the best for last because it is a win when you can save yourself a lot of time!

If you become a member of the Great Careers Group, you will get a link to a document with over 300 links with remote jobs and other info.

It took many hours to research and build the document, and members stated that this one document alone was worth becoming a member.

So now that you are ready to start searching for jobs, how will you track your job search?

As a member, you also get a Job Search Activity Tracker, as well as a Career Management Checklist, LinkedIn Accelerator Checklist, Resume Accelerator Checklist, Interview Preparation Resources, Networking Accelerator Checklist, Free Personal Assessment Resources, Business Card Optimization Checklist, Accomplishment Stories Techniques Guide, over 50 Salary Comparison Websites, Discount Codes for Affiliates, and free attendance to our weekly speaker meetings for a year.

So, come and learn while you network. You never know who knows who!

Now is the BEST time of the year to engage in networking, as companies have new budgets starting in the new year and will be hiring.

We hope to see you soon!
