A Bucks County father was recently appointed to a major position on the board of directors of a local school district. Samantha Bambino wrote about the new appointee for the Lower Bucks Times.

Carlos Rodriguez, a Feasterville native and father to a child who attends Posquessing Middle School, was recently sworn in as the latest addition to Neshaminy School District’s board of school directors. Being sworn in by Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Denise Bowman, Rodriguez has served as the director of security at Salus University for 15 years.

He is replacing Stephen Linden, who was appointed in May but had to leave his position after he had to move out of the area. Now, Rodriguez holds a Region 1 seat that will last until December 2023; he intends to campaign after his position is up.

“I understand that this will not be an easy task, but I am capable and willing to accept the challenge,” Rodriguez said.
