World-Renowned Composer Visits Warminster Middle School, Teaches Students Music Fundamentals

The composer spoke to the young musicians about important music tips and tricks.

A well-known composer recently visited a Bucks County school to teach music students an important lesson in live performance. Staff writers for the Lower Bucks Times recently wrote about the visit.

Dr. Quincy C. Hilliard, a world-renowned composer of wind literature and a Professor of Music at the University of Louisiana, recently made a visit to Log College Middle School in Warminster to teach students important musical lessons.

Hillard worked with eight-grade band members at the school, teaching them fundamentals on performances and compositions.

The visit was organized by Centennial School District and in partnership with William Tennent High School.
