An important member of Foundations Community Partnership is working hard to help Bucks County residents live happy and healthy lives.

Abigail Halloran, joined the organizations’s Board of Directors in 2016 and has served as Board President since January. Through her work with the local nonprofit, Halloran has been able to help provide behavioral health and human service needs of Bucks County residents for several years.

“I have appreciated getting to know about the many services and programs available for youth and families in Bucks County,” she said. “Being on the Board, I have met many community members and run into some old friends as well.”

Having worked in the behavioral health field for about 25 years, Halloran’s family has a history of volunteering and making a difference in their communities. Having done community work since she was young, her work with Foundations Community Partnership has allowed her to continue that work well into her career.

“I think the pandemic brought into light how fragile some of the structure of our households are,” she said. “Many families needed extra help and support with the pandemic challenges. And while this is more so now standard operating, I think we can all appreciate the extra support needed by many families.”

Halloran has enjoyed watching the nonprofit grow in recent years, as she loves to see the impact it is making on Bucks County families and individuals.

“Our children are the future of our community,” she said. “So I feel it is an honor and privilege to be part of an organization that seeks to support, fund, and provide assistance in many ways to those organizations who help our youth and families.”
