The job market has seen some uncharacteristic shake ups in the last few years due to a lot of unusual factors. This has led many to feel both excited about the new possibilities this presents, as well as unsure about what jobs have the best future now.

As discussed by CBS, this is something Glassdoor recently examined. Combining the factors of highest salary, job prospects, and job satisfaction, Glassdoor came up with the best jobs in America in 2022.

Here are some of the best business jobs that made the cut.

Strategic account manager

These individuals act as liaisons between companies and their clients. They earn around $88,000 and currently have over 4,400 job openings in America.

Database architect

This profession analyzes large swaths of data to look for patterns that companies can use to improve their strategies. The pay is quite high at $140,00, but openings are a little more scarce around 3,000.

Software engineer

With new apps constantly in development for all devices, this job is plentiful with over 60,000 openings. The pay is around $116,000.

HR manager

Almost every company needs a human resources department, leading to over 7,000 openings for HR managers right now. Pay is usually over $91,000.

Information security engineer

Most companies need someone to protect their digital devices, leading to over 7,200 openings in this role. The salary is nearly $117,000, and job satisfaction is at a 4.1 out of 5.

Corporate recruiter

If job satisfaction is your priority, being a corporate recruiter ranks quite high at a 4.4 out of 5. There are over 8,700 openings and pay is around $77,000.

Marketing manager

The person who helps create a plan for a company to share its product with the world. Typical pay is above $90,000 and job availability is at nearly 7,600 openings.

Automation engineer

If you enjoy designing robotics, there are currently over 6,700 job openings for this automation career. The annual salary is around $86,000 and job satisfaction is at a 4.1 out of 5.

Sales manager

If you have skill leading a sales team towards their quotas, there are currently over 24,000 openings in America with pay close to $80,000.

Tax manager

For helping people ensure their taxes are in order, you can expect to make around $125,000 in one of the 4,773 openings currently available.
