A K9 from the Warrington Township Police Department has captured his fourth suspect of the summer. Jeff Werner wrote about the brave dog for the Newtown, PA Patch.
Jolie, a K9 who works with Corporal John Blanchard, recently apprehended her fourth suspect of the summer. Assisting the Doylestown Township Police Department, Jolie sprang into action as a retail theft suspect ran into the woods after he crashed his car in the attempted getaway.
With Corporal Blanchard at her side, Jolie located the suspect, who surrendered once she found him. With this capture, this marked Jolie’s fourth successful tracking down of a suspect this summer.
Back in June, Jolie tracked down and located three carjackers in Chalfont; like the Doylestown arrest, these three also crashed their car as they attempted to escape. All three were arrested for their alleged crimes.
After all the crime-stopping Jolie and Blanchard have taken part in this summer, both law enforcement officials are being recognized for their heroic work. It is K9s and officers like these two that make Bucks County a safe place to live.
