Pipersville and Telford made a recent list of ten Philadelphia-area zip codes to see significant increases in housing prices back in July. Ryan Mulligan wrote about the price increases for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Pipersville saw one of the most significant year-over-year median list price change. An increase of 99% was shown in the data for the top ten areas in regards to their housing prices. Telford, Pennsylvania was one of two other areas to top it, with a 101% increase in their prices. Nearby Horsham saw a 169% increase.

Also featured in the list were several areas in New Jersey and Delaware, a well as a few other towns and cities in Pennsylvania.

The data, which was collected from Realtor.com, shows that these areas’ housing prices have skyrocketed in the past year. The general size of the properties, as well as an influx of sellers during the summer, contributed to the increased prices.

As the prices of these areas continue to increase, homebuyers might be influenced to look elsewhere during over the course of the next year.
