Harcum Appoints Seasoned Financial Aid Professional to Position of Department Head

Paula Lehrberger has joined the Enrollment Management team at Harcum College as Assistant Vice President of Financial Aid.

Lehrberger is chiefly responsible for the administration of all financial aid programs for the Bryn Mawr campus and all partnership sites, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations in addition to college policies.

In this new role, she will:

  • Provide departmental oversight
  • Create additional training and mentorship opportunities for the financial aid staff
  • Update and organize existing documents for increased accessibility
  • Work to ensure a continued positive experience for students, 85 percent of whom rely on some form of financial aid

“Paula is widely respected within the financial aid industry,” said Rachel Bowen, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “She has done a tremendous amount of public service over the course of her career, and we are fortunate to have her at the helm at Harcum in an area critical to enrollment, student success, and retention.”

Before coming to Harcum she was the Director of Financial Aid at Widener University and recently served on the NCAA DIII financial aid committee.

Paula Lehrberger holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Rochester and a master’s degree from University of Bloomington.
