Former President of Newportville Fire Company Remembered for His Service to the Community

Frank J. Farmer III served as the president of the fire company for years.

The former president of the Newportville Fire Company is being remembered for his lifetime of service and safety to the Bucks County community. His obituary and life story was recently published in the Bucks County Courier Times.

Frank J. Farmer III passed away this past Sunday. A Levittown native, he was a lifetime member of Newportville Fire Company.

“It is with deep regret that the officer’s and Members of Newportville Fire Company announce the passing of Past President and Life Member Frank Farmer,” the fire company said in an online statement.

Along with his service to the Bucks County community, Farmer also owned DNP Landscaping, where he offered other services to his local community.

In his spare time, Farmer made it a mission of his to feed feral cats throughout his area. He was also a supported of the Township K-9 Officers and Handlers.
