Shops and unique spots in Bucks County recently made appearances in Philadelphia Magazine’s lists of the best local places for Shopping & Style and Fun & Games.

On the lists were businesses and establishments in Yardley, Warminster, and Doylestown.

2022 New Boutique – Krysset

Located at 45 East Afton Avenue in Yardey, shoppers support the dreams of many. The female-owned lifestyle store from Jessica Gebauer is filled with feel-good wares sourced from indie makers and sustainable businesses across North America.

2022 Thrift Shop, ‘Burbs – Habitat for Humanity Restore

Located at 539 Jacksonville Road in Warminster, ReStore’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it selection of new and gently used furnishings is diverse and eclectic. A single shopping haul could yield a low-slung velvet couch, a Sub-Zero stainless steel refrigerator, and enough decorative baskets to populate Pinterest.

Best Reason To Go To Doylestown – Michener Art Museum

Located at 138 South Pine Street in Doylestown, the musuem was funded by donations fromAmerican novelist James Michener, who gave away much of the money he earned during his lengthy career. The museum just wrapped a retrospective of Reading native Keith Haring, but there’s still plenty to see, including furniture by renowned Bucks County woodworker George Nakashima and the paintings of PAFA/UPenn grad Elizabeth Osborne.
