The families and friends of Kristen Konski and Stephen Keller will need good GPS systems to keep up with the couple as they progress toward their June 11 wedding. The Hoboken pair traveled to Tyler Gardens (Newtown) for an engagement shoot. And from there, they’ll trek to Delaware County next month for the vows. Kristen Schott kept pace for Philadelphia Magazine.

Konski and Keller met through a mutual friend. Just over a year later, he popped the question, and she accepted.

The engagement photoshoot was something of a challenge. Konski and Keller had Longwood Gardens in mind, but sketchy weather and a host of calendar conflicts interfered.

Konski’s mother, a Bucks County Community College grad, knew of Tyler Gardens (they’re onsite at the school’s Newtown campus). As a student, she had fallen in love with the lush spot and suggested it.

It was a quick yes.

The only fly in the ointment during the session was … the bugs. A run of recent rain caused swarms of gnats.

“Not having worn bug spray made me the perfect dessert,” said the bride-to-be.

The wedding venue, Parque Ridley Creek in Glen Mills, Delaware County, was booked solid for 2021, but the pair found an ideal date — June 11, 2022 — available.

More information on this traveling couple is at Philadelphia Magazine.

Tyler Gardens is ideal not only just for engagement photos but for ceremonies as well.
