Bensalem Boy Embodies ‘It’s a Small World,’ Donates Disney Theme Park Fund to Ukraine
A seven-year-old Disney theme park fan in Bensalem has proved by his selfless act that it is, indeed, a “Small World After All.” 6abc reported his global-scale kindness.
For the past two years, Nicholas Perrin has been squirreling away funds for a Walt Disney World trip. Tucking away his change and bills, he amassed $250 to the cost of a visit to the Magic Kingdom in Fla.
He decided recently, however, to divert the cash to another goal. In doing so, he is making magic on an international scale.
Perrin has donated his entire treasure to the Christian Life Center in Bensalem, seeking to help the people of Ukraine.
The young philanthropist heard about the danger — especially to children — while attending the church with his parents.
He told his mother he wanted to help the displaced youngsters, especially as he theorized they would need new toys.
“They aren’t home anymore,” he reasoned. “I hope my money will help them.”
The funds are headed to the Convoy of Hope Ukraine
Perrin and his family also donated supplies to the victims of war. These are off to the United Ukrainian American Relief.
Undeterred about the use of his savings, Perrin is gathering resources in his Disney theme park jar for another day.
