A Radnor-based commercial real estate firm is teaming up with a Washington, D.C. firm to purchase 12 industrial buildings in Berks County, writes Andrew Kulp for the Daily Times.

Endurance Real Estate Group in Radnor and ASB Real Estate Investments in Washington, D.C. are paying $77.6 million for the buildings.

The purchase includes the entire Berks Corporate Center in Muhlenberg Township. Nine of the 12 buildings are in the corporate center, located off Rt. 61.

The Berks Corporate Center has warehouses for retailer products and service providers.

Total acquisition is just short of one million square feet of industrial property, known as the Lehigh Valley West Industrial Portfolio.

The buildings are In a prime location close to major highways, large metropolitan areas, and a large blue-collar workforce.

“This acquisition continues one of our long-term strategies of buying well-located but difficult to replace light industrial assets,” said Jared Newman, senior vice president of acquisitions for Endurance. “We remain bullish on Berks County, and specifically the Reading-area submarket, as we have been for more than a decade.”

Endurance recently purchased three Berks warehouses, all in Muhlenberg.
