Kennett Square’s Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen managed to survive the pandemic, thanks in part to the community’s support, and thrives today as a fun place that welcomes everybody, writes Tara Smith for the Daily Local News

The owners and staff of the small craft brewery are proud of the relaxed vibe that makes the space not only a wonderful place to visit, but also to work.

In their recovery from the pandemic, general manager Ryan Wilson and his “right hand” manager, Bridget Cain, along with their team, have intentionally focused on their strengths and how best to serve the community.

This includes staying open later than most businesses, having a “world-famous beer Bible,” and supplying an extensive menu of seasonal craft cocktails.

Additionally, Grain now offers a smaller and more focused menu with items such as small plates, salads, and sandwiches that “enables us to put our best foot forward with food and allows these great menu items to shine,” said Wilson.
