The Newtown Rail Trail in Southampton is one of nine Bucks County projects getting funding from Washington.

Last week’s passage of the Fiscal Year 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act is bringing $6.6 million in funding to Bucks County communities. The dollars will fill needs made known through the Community Funding Request process, which U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick championed for the betterment of the county.

Nine community projects are getting a shot in the arm.
