With the final touches in place, Penn Community Bank was able to celebrate the opening of its new Lansdale branch.

Penn Community Bank’s final preparations on its newest branch signified to staff and customers alike that the financial institution’s expansion from Bucks County into neighboring Montgomery County is moving forward.

The bank’s new Lansdale site at 490 Forty Foot Road is the brand’s second toehold across its county border to the south, joining a branch in Jenkintown.

The branch will assist customers with banking, lending, cash management, and investment services.

The brick-and-mortar expansion comes despite the recent rise in the popularity of online banking, propelled by the ongoing pandemic and bank customer preferences.

Penn Community Bank provides extensive digital services; however, its focus on relationships continues to rely on the face-to-face interactions of a traditional site.

“We know the important role of physical locations in meeting the financial needs of families and businesses and have continued to invest in our retail network. We believe in the power of relationship-based banking,” said Steve Murphy, Penn Community Bank Chief Banking Officer.

Visitors to the new branch can enter a daily raffle through March 18 to win gift cards for local merchants.

More on the services provided by Penn Community Bank — throughout its branch network — is available online.
