A few scenes of the new Adam Sandler movie Hustle were filmed at Manor College.

The trailer for the new Adam Sandler movie Hustle, which prominently features Manor College, is out and it is packed with all things Philadelphia, writes Michael Tanenbaum for Philly Voice.

The movie, slated for a June release, stars Sandler as a basketball scout who is trying to jump start the NBA career of a troubled but talented overseas prospect, played by NBA’s Juancho Hernangomez.

The player gets an opportunity with the 76ers, but Sandler has to keep him motivated to click with the team while saving his own scouting career in the process. Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall, and Ben Foster also star in the movie.

In addition to Manor College, film crews working on the movie were spotted in Center City, North Philly, South Philly, Manayunk, Chester, and Coatesville, among other local sites. Many are easily recognizable in the trailer.

During the making of the movie, Sandler interacted with residents and often visited local businesses, showing his support for the region.

A quiz of the local settings from the Hustle trailer is at Philly Voice.

Hustle was filmed in the Philadelphia region, with several scenes at Manor College in Jenkintown.
