Pet lovers, rejoice. According to a new study by delivery service platform My Baggage, Philadelphia is one of the top ten pet-friendly U.S. cities, writes Claudia Dimuro for Penn Live.

To determine the best cities to live in with your four-legged companions, My Baggage examined data from Yelp and TripAdvisor on various aspects of owing a pet: the number of veterinarians, number of pet stores, and number of restaurants that welcome leashed felines or canines. The metrics on these services were then combined with the cost of pet living to arrive at a score.

The City of Brotherly — and, as it seems, animal — Love came in seventh in the nation, with an overall score of 449 out of a maximum 675.

According to the study, Philadelphia has 74 vets, and 13 restaurants and 100 hotels that welcome four-legged diners and guests. Access to supplies to keep them healthy, fed, and occupied are plentiful, with 96 pet stores inside the city’s borders. The average annual cost for a dog is $775.

Overall, the most pet-friendly city in the world is Los Angeles, followed by Milan, Italy, and New York City.
