YMCA of Bucks County is ready to make your 2022 a healthy year.

The YMCA of Bucks County, seeking to increase the traction of its marketing efforts and brand awareness, has partnered with BUCKSCO.Today. The online news organization publishes six times weekly, supplying news to more than 20,000 subscribers across Bucks County and beyond. It is part of a wider network of similarly focused, county-centric e-publications:

  • VISTA Today (Chester County)
  • MONTCO Today
  • DELCO Today

The YMCA of Bucks County now stands among 100 other for- and nonprofit entities to access the extensive reach of publisher American Community Journals (ACJ).

Further, these successful businesses align with the ACJ editorial outlook to be a voice of positivity, uplift, and enthusiasm amid an atmosphere of deep-rooted negativity in today’s journalistic field.

“The word ‘partnership’ to describe our relationships with the business community is really apt,” said Julie Kovaleski, ACJ Community Ambassador. “As we do with all our partners, we will work side by side with the YMCA of Bucks County, shepherding their content, creating messaging with and for them, highlighting their charitable events, and spotlighting their inspirational leaders.

“What ACJ provides,” she continued, “transcends traditional marketing. Our seasoned editorial staff counsels partners in a way that suits their needs and capabilities, augmenting their in-house skills and strengths and supplying professional counsel where they need it.

“We are very excited to welcome YMCA of Bucks County to the ACJ family,” she concluded.

The YMCA of Bucks County has provided more than $5 million in charitable community impact, according to its latest annual report. That support proved critical in a year of social service shortfalls caused by the COVID-19 outbreak countywide.

The past two years have been a time of renewal and recommitment to the Y’s mission.

Earlier this year, the YMCA of Bucks completed a major expansion of its Doylestown branch and is currently midway through a complete renovation of the Fairless Hills location. These projects follow a similar re-do of the Quakertown Y and ribbon-cutting of the new location in Warminster.

“We have the best facilities that this county has to offer right now,” said Zane Moore, president and CEO of the YMCA of Bucks County. “I want people to realize that we are here for them when they are ready to come back. We’ve made our facilities safe, and we are ready to serve.”

Ken Knickerbocker, BUCKCO.Today publisher said, “In its role as both a wellness center and safety net to Bucks County residents, the YMCA of Bucks County served critical needs in an atmosphere of widespread uncertainty about the impact of the pandemic.

“The organization was then — and remains today — a fount of good news, creative initiatives, and fun events in the Bucks County community. “We are thrilled to be a megaphone for them in regard to that messaging,” he concluded.
