Bar and restaurant menus this time of year reflect a decided December slant when it comes to food. But the drink menus, too, are particularly merry right now. Alexandra Lashner, for the Visit Bucks County blog, assembled a list of some of the best seasonal cocktails in the county.

1675 Spirits, Bensalem

Recommended seasonal sippables here include spiked hot chocolate, a toasted hazelnut old fashioned, and a perky peppermint martini.

The Cage Cocktail Bar, Warrington

Two words: spiked eggnog. ‘Nuff said.

Relic on State, Newtown

The Moscow mule served here has an understandable kick. It’s made of vodka, spicy ginger beer, and fresh lime.

The Iron Oven, Southampton

Its classic candy cane martini combines vanilla vodka, white crème de cacao, peppermint schnapps, and half-and-half. Too many of these, and you may find yourself hanging from an evergreen.
