Penn Community Bank is pleased to announce its Human Resources Department has been named a HR Department of the Year by a panel of business leaders throughout the region.

The award, part of the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year program, recognizes the important contributions of human resources and training departments in businesses of all sizes.

The bank‘s honor came in the category of human resource staffs with 11-14 employees.

Among the most important factors in receiving the award were Penn Community Bank’s commitment to employee wellbeing during the pandemic and its authentic commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

The Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year program was founded in 1998 by Scott Rosen, President of the Rosen Group in Philadelphia. His belief was that HR professionals should receive recognition for what they do and the growth and change they produce within their organizations.

He envisioned this honor would raise the bar for HR professionals. Its awards program has been recognizing excellence in the HR field for the past 24 years.
