Penn Community Bank, the largest mutual bank headquartered in eastern Pennsylvania, celebrated the completion of its Bristol branch renovation with an October 13 ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The construction project is one of an ongoing series of refreshes that Penn Community Bank is bringing to its branch system. The high-profile location of this branch, on Mill Street in downtown Bristol, made it a priority for a customer-centric redo.

Several design and layout improvements were incorporated into the architectural plan.

But changes went well beyond cosmetics. Particular attention was paid to ensure an excellent customer experience, driven by design and technology.

As part of the grand reopening, Penn Community Bank team members fanned out across the business district in a wave of community acts of kindness. The gift cards they distributed and the customer tabs they paid aligned perfectly with the bank’s emphasis on serving as a catalyst for growth in the communities it serves.

Bank staff also engaged in physical beautification projects in the area. Team members picked up litter to help maintain Bristol Borough’s scenic waterfront.
