One of the best if not the best — pro lacrosse players today, Glenside’s Matt Rambo, managed to set himself apart throughout high school, college, and his professional careers, writes Josh Russell for LaxAllStars.

Rambo attended La Salle College High School, where he was a three-time U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American.

He was named MVP of the 2012 Under Armour Underclassmen Tournament, which he then followed up with an eight-goal MVP performance in the 2013 All-American Game. He wrapped up his high school career with 385 points and an impressive 276 career goals.

And he did not slow down during his years at Maryland University.

By his senior year, he was named the 2017 Tewaaraton winner and became the school’s all-time leader in goals and points.

Following his college career, he was drafted third overall in the 2017 MLL Draft by Charlotte Hounds.

In 2018, he joined Whipsnakes LC in the PLL. In his first season, he led the league in points and assists. He was named the Jim Brown League MVP and led the team to the league’s first-ever championship.
