Over 300 Powerful Accomplishment Verbs for Your LinkedIn Profile and Resume
Accomplishment, or action verbs, are used when starting bullet points under your work experiences on a resume, and these can also be used on LinkedIn.
Using a variety of accomplishment verbs helps make it more interesting for the reader and will catch their attention more. For example, instead of three bullet points under one work experience starting with the word managed, you can use managed, led, and oversaw. Change the first word up to create more impact.
Whether you are unemployed, self-employed, or employed, you need to manage your career documents and keep them up to date. Why not review your documents to see if you are using a variety of verbs?
Ongoing job responsibilities in your current job should use the present tense. Projects you have accomplished in the past should use the past tense. The past tense might be used for some projects completed at your current employment.
