Brides Magazine: Luxurious Bucks County Resort Is One of Pennsylvania’s Best Honeymoon Spots
The May 2021 issue of Brides highlights the four-season appeal of Pennsylvania for a newlywed getaway.
In considering options, author Sarah Zlotnik wrote, “You might think of a tropical island dotted with palm trees. Or a European city steeped in history and filled with lively cafes…. But Pennsylvania is a great place for a honeymoon.”
She then listed advantages season by season: Snow-bunny couples have multiple options for skiing Pennsylvania’s mountains. Springtime brings seasonal gardens to life. Summertime is primo for scenic waterways. And fall, well, the Commonwealth’s foliage speaks for itself.
Zlotnick also talked accommodations. She cites a baker’s dozen of the swankiest unique hotels for couples in need of a whew-we’re-through-the-vows-lets-get-away-from-all-this-family escape.
The exclusive list includes Bucks County’s own River House at Odette’s.
The Brides article praised “..stylish rooms, delicious farm-to-table cuisine, and beautiful water views.” Combined, these plusses provide couples with “a whole lot to love.”
New couples can walk along the Delaware River, shop in the numerous antique stores of Lambertville and hang out at the Odette’s piano bar for cocktails and music at night.
Before retiring for the evening (and whatever that may hold), the rooftop bar is perfect for honeymooners to gaze at the moon.
Zlotnik also offered this fun fact: The Hadid Family — as in models Bella and Gigi — keep a horse farm nearby.
