At Sesame Place’s 2021 Easter Celebration, “S” is for Safety
It’s no secret that both kids and parents are tired of lockdowns, socially distant learning and virtual playdates and are ready for an in-person — but nonetheless safe — good time.
Just in time to serve as a release for frayed nerves throughout the house, Sesame Place is throwing its annual Easter-themed party.
The park is committing to COVID-appropriate measures that include diligent and frequent cleaning and sanitation measures, temperature checks, face-covering requirements and limited capacity.
Party highlights include:
- Photos with the Easter Bunny: Safely visit with the Easter Bunny in a newly transformed spring and sunshine-filled oasis
- Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt: Go on an interactive scavenger hunt and find the six giant Easter eggs throughout the park. Match each color to its shape and receive a special prize
- Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party: Dance, sing, and hop along with everyone’s favorite furry friends at this physically distanced, interactive dance party
- Sesame Street Parades: The Sesame Street Neighborhood featuring Elmo and friends will be on the march throughout the day
Dining, rides and live shows are also planned, albeit with possible weather and limited seating restrictions in place.
This basketful of Easter fun runs March 27 to April 18; details are available from Sesame Place.
