Penn Community Bank is pleased to announce that Stephanie M. Schwartzberg, Esq., Executive Vice President and General Counsel, has been recognized by the YWCA of Bucks County for her work on women’s empowerment in the region.

The honor, part of the Salute to Women Who Make a Difference awards program, specifically celebrates Schwartzberg’s mentorship of the Mount St. Joseph Academy’s Firebirds 433 all-girl robotics team.

“This is the 29th consecutive year that the YWCA of Bucks County proudly honors female leaders who live or work in Bucks County,” said Karen Ann Ulmer, YWCA member and event chairperson. “Each year we provide this special salute to honor them for making exceptional contributions to their businesses, organizations or their communities.”

In her role at Penn Community Bank, Schwartzberg drives the overall legal strategy for the institution, including:

  • Governance
  • Corporate law
  • Banking and trust matters
  • Risk management
  • Commercial transactions
  • Litigation
  • Insurance
  • Contract negotiations across all business functions

She serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Legal Affairs Advisory Committee, a mentor with the Mount St. Joseph Academy’s Firebirds 433 all-girl robotics team, and a director at Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center.

Schwartzberg holds an undergraduate business degree Villanova University, and a law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
