Pennsylvania Department of Health Reports 49 COVID-19 Deaths, 4,087 Reported Cases in the State

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting as of midnight, Monday, March 30, nine more deaths in the state from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 49.

There were 693 more positive cases in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 4,087 in 58 counties.

Seven deaths have been reported in Monroe and Philadelphia counties.

Five deaths have been reported in Delaware, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.

Three deaths have been reported in Bucks, Lehigh and Luzerne counties.

Two deaths have been reported in Allegheny, Lackawana , Butler, and Lancaster counties.

One death has been reported in Cumberland, Pike, and Lawrence counties.

Philadelphia County continues to lead in reported positive cases of COVID-19 with 1,007 cases. Montgomery County has 503. Delaware County is third with 303 cases reported.

The highest percentage of cases is in the 29-49 age range, with 41 percent of state cases.

There are 33,777 patients who have tested negative for coronavirus in the state.
