Anna Quindlen, a New York Times bestselling author, is coming to Bucks County as part of her national book tour for "After Annie".

Anna Quindlen, a New York Times bestselling author, is coming to Bucks County as part of her national book tour for “After Annie“, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

The event will take place on March 18 at 7 PM in the Life Sciences Auditorium at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown. It will be presented by the Doylestown Bookshop. This will be the author’s only Pennsylvania stop on her tour.

During the event, Quindlen will be featured in a conversation with Marion Callahan, a local media professor, journalist, and photographer.

Quindlen has authored many bestselling books, such as the No. 1 New York Times bestselling novel “Rise and Shine“. Her other works include “Lots of Candles“, “Plenty of Cake“, “A Short Guide to a Happy Life“, “Blessings, One True Thing“, “Black and Blue“, and “Still Life with Bread Crumbs“.

The author’s recognizable wisdom on family, friendship, and the ties that bind are also prominently featured in her latest novel, “After Annie”.

The book focuses on the power of love and how it can transcend loss and triumph over adversity.
