The local tourist railroad made its way on the list of seven enchanting Pennsylvania train rides for a cozy holiday experience for a good reason.

For the holidays, passengers get to experience and explore Bucks County by steam train while enjoying the company of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The one-hour Santa’s Steam Train Ride offers an amazing experience on a festively decorated train.

Santa and Mrs. Claus visit each child and give gifts of sleigh bells, like in the famous “Polar Express” book and movie. To make the experience more immersive and fit with the theme, New Hope Railroad encourages adults and children to wear pajamas.

The New Hope Railroad ride also features musicians and carolers on board and hot chocolate and cookies are included in the ticket.

Another option is Santa’s North Pole Express Train, which provides the same experience only on a diesel train (which makes it more affordable).
