Archbishop Wood earns stressful win over Archbishop Ryan 37-34

Archbishop Wood High School topped Archbishop Ryan High School 37-34 in a tough tilt in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Aug. 25.

The first quarter gave Archbishop Wood a 7-0 lead over Archbishop Ryan.

The Vikings’ offense breathed fire in front for a 23-0 lead over the Raiders at halftime.

Neither defense permitted points in the third quarter.

The Raiders outpointed the Vikings 34-14 in the final quarter, but it was not enough to close the gap.
