Papa’s Pretzel Place in Bristol offers some of the best, most delectable, and authentic soft pretzels in the region, writes Cate Murway for Levittown Now.

Philadelphia native Michael Beck opened the shop in July 2021 in the midst of the pandemic. Beck is a La Salle University graduate who majored in biology. Throughout college, he worked in sales for a film distribution company, before starting a job in Chicago for 20th Century Fox as Director of Sales.

“Chicago was very cold, and there were no soft pretzels there,” he said.

He continued his sales career for decades before opening Papa’s Pretzel Place with his son, Cody, who is a trained chef.

The two pride themselves on making quality pretzels. They take the craft to the next level by blending the traditions of the past and innovations of the future to create an elevated snacking experience.

They offer everything from classics to new favorites, including sausage pretzels and pork roll pretzels.
