Bucks County Elementary School Names Next Principal, Who Has a History in Local Education

An educator in the Bucks County area was recently named to a new position by one of the most well-known districts in the area.

Joseph Ferderbar Elementary, located at 300 Heights Lane in Feasterville-Trevose, will soon have a new principal. Dr. Sinead Doherty, the current Assistant Principal at Butler Elementary School in the Central Bucks School District, will become the next principal of the local elementary school.

The Neshaminy School District approved of Doherty’s new position at a recent school board meeting. She will take the place of Andre Modica, who will retire at the end of the school year.

Doherty is also a parent in the Neshaminy School District, were her children attend the local schools.

This coming week, the district will see all of their schools closed for their annual spring break. As one of the most well-known districts in Bucks County, Doherty’s history in local education is sure to enhance the quality of learning in the school district.
