Adrienne and Donte King live a life that whirls with activity. Despite having full-time jobs and the parental duties associated with two daughters, the husband and wife entrepreneurs run their own juice company. Michele Haddon peeled back the layers of their story for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The Kings started their home-based business, So Fresh So Green Juice Co., in the summer of 2021. A friend had urged them to take part in a vegan challenge, and the dietary revision birthed the juice-based enterprise idea.

The family bought a juicer, and daughter Camille (their eight-year-old) suggested flavor combinations.

“Before you knew it, we were producing so much, we had to start giving it away,” said Adrienne.

Once the line started selling well at local farmers markets, they knew the beverage was a winner.

“Just think about your favorite song, and how its carefully orchestrated. That’s kind of the care we take with each of our juices,” Donte said, describing his blending process.
