Bucks County employers with open positions are sweetening their opportunities with numerous job perks.

As the current real estate market has morphed to sellers’ significant advantages over buyers’, so, too has the area job market, which now heavily favors job seekers. To fill open positions, Bucks County employers are now coughing up perk after perk, and available personnel are reaping the benefits. Michelle Haddon linked into this new normal for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Common hiring incentives now include lures like wage increases, sign-on bonuses, and flexible schedules.

Jennifer Schultz, founder of a countywide digital hiring board, has noted not only the pay scale boosts but also a call for reassurance on the pandemic front.

According to Schultz, job notices are now including employers’ COVID-19 safety plans, a move she called “…crucial to getting more candidates to apply.”

A workplace’s response to the Coronavirus outbreak resonates with many who are currently scanning open positions. The health crisis has increased their need to juggle professional lives with responsibilities that include child-care, heightening their reliance on flexibility and remote work.
