Advertising Specialty Institute, Trevose, Reveals 2021’s Promotional Products Industry Power List

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) of Trevose announced its 2021 Power List, identifying top leaders in the branded promotional products industry nationwide.

ASI — an education, media, and marketing organization — was especially attuned to the challenges that the industry faced during the pandemic, where conferences and tradeshows went virtual.

Its number-one pick — Phil Koosed, Chief Strategy Officer of Los Angeles-based BAMKO — led his company into a record-breaking sales year in North America.

BAMKO’s ability to weather the COVID-19 business environment successfully was due in part to its ability to change course from its traditional lines of business to create personal protective equipment. The shift contributed to an increase in promo revenue of 78.5 percent, the greatest year-over-year rise of any of the top 40 distributor companies.

ASI’s top five was rounded out by:

  • Jonathan Isaacson, CEO/chairman of Gemline (Lawrence, Mass.)
  • Jo-an Lantz, CEO/president of Geiger (Lewiston, Me.)
  • Jeremy Lott, president/CEO of SanMar (Issaquah, Wash.)
  • Marc Simon, CEO of HALO Branded Solutions (Los Angeles, Calif.)
