Crumbl Cookies — the sweet treat that has gained explosive social media attention — has officially opened the doors of its first-ever location in Jenkintown.

The newest Crumbl Cookies store will be located at the Baederwood Shoppes on the Fairway in Jenkintown located at 1595 The Fairway.

As the fastest-growing cookie company in the U.S., Crumbl has received national recognition and features a menu boasting more than 120 unique, rotating flavors for customers to enjoy on a weekly basis.

The new 2,200+ square foot Jenkintown store will feature Crumbl’s signature in-store experience: Staff members mix, bake and prepare the cookies in a fresh open kitchen for all to see.

The menu includes two standard favorite cookies, Warm Chocolate Chip and Chilled Sugar, and four rotating specialty cookies personally selected by Crumbl’s cofounder himself, Sawyer Hemsley.

Founded in 2017 by two cousins and cookie enthusiasts, Crumbl’s mission was to create the best chocolate chip cookie, which is a staple item on the current menu.

After sampling the recipe to passerby’s on the street, the cousins perfected the recipe and opened their first store, in Logan, Utah, for business to huge turnouts.

Crumbl has since grown exponentially, marketed almost entirely on social media, and validated by extremely high customer ratings of the baked fresh daily recipes.

Specialty cookie flavors include Muddy Buddy, Biscoff Lava, Funfetti, Snickerdoodle, Coconut Lime, Chocolate Caramel, S’Mores, Orange Creamsicle, Strawberries N’ Cream, and more.

“We are thrilled to bring Crumbl to the Greater Philadelphia region, and to open our first-ever location in the state of Pennsylvania,” said Chris Hummer, Crumbl Cookies Jenkintown Franchise Owner.

“We look forward to sharing a unique ‘taste and see’ cookie experience with customers and giving them the opportunity to see these amazing recipes are more than worthy of the social media hype,” Hummer explained.

With the opening of this new store and future expansion across Pennsylvania, Hummer says each of his planned locations will create over 100 new jobs, including many full-time positions, for which he is offering competitive benefits.

The Lancaster County native former professional sports executive is also planning to offer a “We Pay for A’s” scholarship program for employees attending high school or college. He plans to seed his staff with up to $100 per semester per class to put toward future tuition.

Crumbl Jenkintown will be open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

In addition to curbside pick-up, delivery, and in-store purchase options, Crumbl also offers catering for any occasion. It welcomes inquires for contracted delivery schedules to businesses, institutions, and hospitality venues.

With more 200 stores already open to satisfy customer’s cookie cravings in over 32 states, Crumbl has garnered over 1.6 million followers on TikTok. It uses the platform each Sunday evening to promote the upcoming week of cookies, with the hashtag #crumblreview.
