Paul Martino, father of two students in the Central Bucks - West School District, is using the clout of PACs to further his view that masks in schools should not be mandatory.

Partnering with a political action committee stared by local mom Clairice Schillinger, Paul Martino is furthering his desire to keep schools open next month. Linda Stein reported on the venture capitalist’s desire in the Delaware Valley Journal.

Martino, father of a son and daughter in the CB – West School District, collaborates on his in-person-classroom quest with local mom Clarice Schillinger. She’s the founder of the Keep Kids in School PAC. She says the organization was “…born out of my own frustration watching my children struggle with online learning for over a year.”

The Keep Kids in School PAC successfully shepherded 98 percent of its supported candidates to a May 18 primary win.

Now, under a new umbrella (Back to School PA), it’s taking its mission statewide.

“I am committing to writing up to 50 $10,000 checks to 50 concerned parents, activists, and organizers across the state who want to start their own political action committees and influence their school board races,” said Martino.

He’s quick to point out that nearly a third of the candidates that the Keeping Kids in School PAC backed were Democrats.

“This is hardly a partisan endeavor,” Martino reminded.

More on this grassroots effort is at the Delaware Valley Journal.
