Reality Show Contestant Swaps the Rolling Countryside of Bucks County for the Rolling Waves of Hawaii

By

Shannon St. Claire of Bucks County is vying for a $100,000 cash prize on CBS’ reality show Love Island. Kriti Mehrotra covered the local model and social-media influencer for The Cinemaholic.

St. Claire, 25, is an alumna of Archbishop Wood Catholic High School. She moved onto Bucks County Community College but transferred to the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University. St. Claire graduated in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration.

She has held positions at an interior design firm and a construction group. But her highest profile job before becoming a reality-show contestant was as an Eagles cheerleader.

St. Claire is now a model and a social media influencer, representing several brands on YouTube and TikTok.

As a Love Island Season 3 contestant, St. Claire exudes confidence on the Hawaii set.

“I think I own a room when I walk in,” she declared in the show’s intro clip. “I always walk in like it’s a runway.” She further referred to herself as a “12 out of 10” and explained how her nature is “very flirtatious.”

Love Island is an elimination-style show in which single contestants must “couple up” with each other in pairs — perhaps romantically, perhaps strategically — and avoid being either dumped or eliminated by viewer votes.

More on St. Claire and her reality-show appearance is at The Cinemaholic.
