Scholastic Excellence among Bucks County Private High Schools Propels Three to the Top 50 in Pennsylvania

Bucks County is home to three of the 50 best private high schools in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a new report published by Niche.com

Niche.com determined the rankings based on rigorous analysis of U.S. Department of Education academic and student data along with test scores, college data, and millions of user ratings. 

The ranking factors include SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges that students consider, and percentage of seniors who go on to four-year colleges, among other things. 

All schools that made the top 50 received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score. 

For Bucks County schools, George School in Newtown ranked highest in fifth place. The school has a yearly tuition of $42,200 and a student-to-teacher ratio of seven to one. 

Solebury School in New Hope is next at No. 31 with tuition of $41,750 and a student-to-teacher ratio of five to one. 

The list is rounded out by Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem at No. 32 with its yearly tuition of $23,700 and a student-to-teacher ratio of nine to one.
