Stone & Key Cellars, an award-winning winery and cidery in Montgomeryville, is among the ten best cider-makers in Pennsylvania, writes Jenn Ladd for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The establishment started as a homebrew-supply store and has evolved over time into one of the best wineries and cideries in the region.

The local institution offers a small run of ciders that includes Solely, Pineapple X-Press, and a barrel-aged, extremely dry Golden Russett varietal.

These ciders are made using apples primarily sourced from Solebury Orchards in nearby Bucks County.

The drinks are available directly at the store or they can be ordered online. They can also be found on draft – at Round Guys Brewing Company in Lansdale and Tannery Run Brew Works in Ambler among many others – or packaged from several area restaurants and breweries.

The tasting room is open seven days a week. And as a bonus, if ordering their cider on premises, visitors can also overlook the establishment’s production floor.
