Covenant Bank has donated $30,000 to Libertae under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program.

Located in Bensalem, Libertae is a treatment program dedicated to treating and supporting women with substance abuse disorders. It operates a full-service, on-site daycare where children can play and learn while their mothers are in treatment.

The EITC funds allow Libertae’s childcare staff to continue offering quality educational programming to these children.

“As a community bank, we feel strongly about supporting the people we serve,” said Blair T. Rush, Covenant Bank’s President and COO. “We have partnered with Libertae for the past two years and strongly believe in the work they do to keep children together with their mothers while in treatment.

“Without a facility like this, many of these children would be separated from their mothers. Instead, Libertae focuses on keeping them together to heal the bond between them.”

Headquartered in Doylestown with an office in Paoli, Covenant Bank is a locally owned and operated commercial bank and provides banking services to businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, and individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
